New Job

Yes – back in November I interviewed for a new job. My title back then was Applications Specialist and I worked primarily with Pyxis, an automated medication distribution system. Well, I was offered the new job and now my current title is Pharmacy Technical Support Specialist. Now my responsibilities center around Cerner, a huge-ass patient management suite of applications that promises to be very complex and challenging. I won’t actually migrate to the new position until later on in January, so I’ll know more specifics on the job then. Right now I know that my role will be more technical than pharmaceutical. Between this new development and a new semester at school, I should be fairly busy the first half of 2007.
